Heraclitus is world-wide famous philosopher for saying that “everything flows”: Ta panta rhei. This suggests an attractive and familiar thought, namely that everything changes – all is in permanent flux. . Heraclitus did not simply say that the universe is moving and changing. He also said that we are changing with it.

Everything flows, nothing remains as it is. So do you… You change because everything around you move, but also because your inner self is being shaped. Just as a statue is shaped by the sculptor, your soul is shaped by the stimuli it receives from life itself. Angles are formed, lines are aligned, curves are bent.

Instability may not be negative after all, because it gives you the opportunity to look at life from many angles. It gives you the chance to reset the counter and start over as often as necessary until you find stability in instability, even if only temporarily.

Nevertheless, volatility helps you adapt to the changes to come in the long term. As you get older, you will have realized that change is tumultuous and catalytic. But you still have enough time ahead of you to prepare for it. Age, relationships with others, relationships with ourselves are variables that caught us off guard, but over time they no longer surprise us so much.

After all, instability is synonymous with evolution. To change means to evolve. We make small, drastic changes where necessary in order to become better. After all, change for the better is a personal decision that also has its price, because nothing happens without blood, without hard work. But its value is insurmountable and its profit incalculable, if it is carried out with prudence and logic.

But if someone is not prudent, then the transformation will have a negative aftertaste.  One can go from rich to poor and from strong to weak. Even the happiness one has been chasing all of his/her life and which believes that has achieved suddenly slips out of his/hers hands.

Dreams: How many dreamers have not landed disgracefully on earth?

Ideals? How many have not shed sweat and blood for their ideas, which in the end proved unattainable?

That is why change needs logic to take the path of evolution and not failure and disappointment.
