About Giovanna

Hello! Welcome to L&C Dialogues. I am Giovanna, a modern and ancient Greek teacher and cultural facilitator, born and raised in Athens, a city where ancient heritage and contemporary life remain in constant dialogue.

My relationship with Greek language and culture has always been inseparable from lived experience and place. Growing up in Athens, I was shaped by its layered cultural landscape—its neighborhoods, its historical memory, and the everyday presence of antiquity within modern life. These elements continue to inform my understanding of language not as a system, but as a living cultural practice.

I studied Greek Language and Literature at the School of Philosophy of the University of Athens. Over time, my work evolved beyond traditional language teaching toward experiential cultural education and reflective dialogue.

Within L&C Dialogues, my work centers not only on language teaching, but primarily on experiential seminars and reflective group encounters inspired by ancient Greek drama and cultural archetypes. These sessions invite participants to engage with Greek culture as a living field of meaning—something to be questioned, felt, and internally reinterpreted.
