Cultural workshop

“three women, three symbols in ancient Greek tragedy” – live
Subject

A guided reflective journey into female identity through three powerful figures of ancient Greek tragedy: Antigone, Iphigenia, and Helen.
Each figure embodies a distinct archetype — resistance, sacrifice, and the search for identity — offering a way to explore enduring human questions through the lens of classical narratives.
Rather than approaching these texts as objects of analysis, the program invites participants to engage with them as living material for thought, reflection, and personal meaning.

Goals
  • To explore the complexity of female identity through three archetypal figures
  • To connect ancient Greek tragedy with contemporary questions of choice, responsibility, and self-definition
  • To create a space for thoughtful, structured reflection through guided dialogue
  • To encourage a deeper awareness of one’s own values, dilemmas, and inner positions
Method

Guided and reflective dialogue

The program unfolds in a small group setting.  Participants are invited to engage in a guided process of reflection, based on questions that connect the ancient material with personal experience. The emphasis is on articulating positions, listening to others, and allowing meaning to emerge through dialogue.
